LAST WEEK'S ROUND UP: Trade was light to moderate. It started 
as early as Wednesday in Nebraska and Iowa. Kansas and Texas 
followed up on Thursday. In the North dressed deals ranged 
from $188 to $191, mostly $190, generally steady with the 
prior week's weighted average basis Nebraska. Live deals 
ranged from $117 to $121, mostly $119 to $120, steady to $1 
higher. Southern live trade was at $120, $1 higher than the 
prior week's weighted averages. Private sources reported live 
trade in Colorado at $120, $1 higher than last week. 
According to the Friday afternoon Mandatory reports weekly 
trade volumes were as follows: KS 19,584; NE 23,542; TX 
7,479; IA 20,248; CO not available due to confidentiality.

DTN MORNING COMMENTS:  The country is typically quiet this 
morning with bids and asking prices not established as of yet. 
Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until the 
second half of the week. Beef cutouts are expected to be higher 
with generally light box movement. 

For the week ending February 15, 2020, Imported Beef Passed for 
Entry in the U.S. totaled 34,693, 92.78% of the previous week 
and 91.15% of the 4-week average.
